Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing techniques have been under intense and incessant research for broadband wireless communication. A major impediment of OFDM signals is high Peak-To-Average Power Ratio (PAPR). These high peaks reduced the efficiency of High Power Amplifier (HPA). A simple clipping method is widely used in order to reduce the PAPR since it is easy to implement. In this paper, we introduce an innovative approach to reduce PAPR by clipping the signal stream’s peak and bottom at the transmitter and reconstructing it through an iterative method at the receiver. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed solution has comparable PAPR reduction efficiency with reasonable BER performance.
