Abdelkader Zitouni was born in Algiers, Algeria, in 1965. He received the “Ingénieur d’état”
degree in electronics in 1989 from the Institute of Electronics University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene, Algiers and the “Magister” Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering in 1999 from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University Mhamed Bougara, Boumerdes, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree. His research interests include characterization and modelling of semiconductor devices, design of advanced measurement equipment and modelling and simulation of optical fiber systems and optoelectronic devices.
