Biography
Prof. Dr. Arismar Cerqueira received his Ph.D. degree in 2006 from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Italy. During that period, he was an Invited Researcher at the University of Bath-UK (2004-2005). He is a CNPq Research Fellow, level 2. He was Associate Professor from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), from March 2009 to August 2011, when he joined Inatel to work in the same position. Since 2009 he has been acting as Coordinator of R&D Projects on diverse area of telecommunications, including Radio over Fiber Systems, Optical Communication and Antennas. Particularly, he has a large experience on the development of antenna and radar solutions obtained from many Development Projects for diverse private companies, such as Ericsson and Embraer Orbisat, and Brazilian Armed Forces, such as Brazilian Army and Marine. He is a holder of 03 international patents and has published over 70 scientific papers in international journals or conference proceedings.
