Biography
He received Bsc and Msc from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, 1996 and 1999, respectively. He received Ph.D. degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, in 2003. He was promoted to full professor in Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, June 2016. He is currently with the ECE Department, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman.
Dr. Masoud is a senior member IEEE. Fellow of Higher education Academy, and Educational officer for IEEE Oman section. His research interests include renewable energy systems, power electronics applications, and electrical machine drives. Currently, part of his research oriented towards engineering education.
