Biography
Professor Maria Amelia holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1992), a Master's degree in Education, Art and History of Culture by the Mackenzie Presbyterian University (2001) and a PhD in Sciences (area: Computing) by the Aeronautical Technological Institute (2012). He is currently Full Professor at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, working in the undergraduate courses of the Faculty of Computing and Computer Science and in the Master's (Professional) Program in Applied Computing. She is researcher of the Visual Computation research group, which investigates issues related to the design and development of games, virtual and augmented realities, image processing, computer vision, among others and the Laboratory of Cinematic Arts - LabCine. She has experience in Human-Computer Interaction, Web Technologies, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Digital Media.
