Biography
Dr. Abd El Rahman Shabayek is a Research Associate at the SnT, a member of the Computer Vision Lab within the SIGCOM Group, University of Luxembourg, and an assistant professor (on leave) in computer science at Suez Canal University, Egypt. He obtained his PhD (2012, France) and Erasmus Mundus MSc (2009, UK, Spain, France) in computer vision and robotics. His research interests include 3D and non-conventional computer vision, medical imaging and remote sensing. He is the author and coauthor of over 30 publications including two best paper awards in 2017.
