Dr. Ahmed BaniMustafa is an Assitant Professor in Computer Science. His major research interests in the field of Data Mining, Data Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, and Metabolomics. He received his PhD in Computer Science from The University of Wales, Aberystwyth (Aberystwyth University), United Kingdom in 2012 and received his MSc in Software Engineering from UWE, Bristol University, United Kingdom in 2003. Dr. Ahmed BaniMustafa is currently a fulltime Assistant Professor at the American University of Madaba. He joined the university in 2013 and was one of the founders of the Information Technology College and the Department of Computer Science. He is also the founder of Data Science program. Dr. Ahmed participated in a number of innovation and research projects and supervised a number of undergraduate dissertations. Eralier, he worked at the Ministry of Education, Philadelphia University, Jadara University, Jordan University of Science and Technology in Jordan and he worked also at Aberystwyth University and Motorola Mobility (Acquired by Google Inc.) in the United Kingdom. He is currently a member of ACM, IEEE, Metabolomics Societies and Jordanian Research Society.
