Biography
Engr. Dr. Kolawole Adisa Olonade is a cement and concrete expert. He has PhD degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with particular interest in Materials and Structures from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He has been engaging in teaching, research and consulting for over one and half decades. Over the years, he has been utilizing various wastes (agricultural and industrial) for production of high performance cement-based products, reducing construction costs for affordable housing and ensuring sustainable construction in sub-Saharan Africa. He is a chartered engineer and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, American Concrete Institute as well as a senior member of RILEM. He is a recipient of a number of awards and grants, which include the distinguished German-African Innovation Incentive Award. Dr. Olonade is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is also a public Speaker.
