Biography
Bruno Bogaz Zarpelão received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from State University of Londrina, Brazil, and the Ph.D.degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Campinas, Brazil. During the Ph.D., he stayed six months as a visiting student at Next Generation Networks and Applications Group (NetGNA), University of Beira Interior, Portugal. He was a research fellow at the Laboratory of Communication Networks, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and an adjunct professor at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (PUC-Campinas) and at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUC-PR). In 2013/2014, he was one of the coordinators of a RNP Working Group: GT-Plainc, a Platform for Incident Analysis. He is an assistant professor at State University of Londrina (UEL), Brazil, which he joined in 2012. From March 2018 to Feb 2019, he was a visiting postdoctoral researcher at City, University of London. His research interests include Network Management, Cyber Security, and Intrusion Detection.
