Yaseein Soubhi Hussein received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Baghdad, Iraq, in 1999. His Master degree in Telecommunications Engineering was from University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 2010 and PhD in Communication and Networks Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2014. He worked as an Engineer, deputy Production Manager at Al-Shaheed State Company, Iraq, from 2000 to 2007. He worked as a Consultant for the project of visible light communication (VLC) with Telekom Malaysia Bhd from January to August 2015. He became a Postdoctoral Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. He was worked as a senior lecturer at School of Technology, Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation, 2017 to 2019. Currently, he is an assistant professor at department of Information Technology and Computer Science, Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College (ABMMC), Qatar. His main research interests are 5G Networks, LTE and LTE-Advance, Wireless Channel Modeling, Millimeter wave technology (mmW) and visible light communication (VLC), also known as Li-Fi.
