Biography
Dr. Riaz Khan has received his PhD degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He received his M.S. Degree from University of Sunderland, United Kingdom in 2010, MSc Degree from Hazara University, Pakistan in 2006 and bachelor’s degree from University of Peshawar, Pakistan in 2003. Since 2010, he worked in various industrial and educational institutions. From 2010 to 2012, he was appointed as an IT analyst in a reputable organization in United Kingdom.
From 2012 to 2016, he was appointed as a Lecturer in Computer Science at reputed institutions in Pakistan and currently Dr. Riaz Khan is working in Joint CHINA-CUBA LABORATORY FOR FRONTIER RESEARCH IN TRANSLATIONAL NEUROTECHNOLOGY, UESTC, as a Postdoc fellow. He received an excellent performance award from UESTC in December 2017 and Academic Achievement Award in December 2018. His areas of interest include Neuroinformatics, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Big Data, Cyber-Physical Systems, Dynamic Program Analysis, Cloud Computing, Data Management, Distributed System, Blockchain and Internet of Things. In addition, he has published more than 20 articles in various International journals and conference proceedings.
Currently, he is working on EEG/MEG, fMRI analysis/classification in collaboration with Montreal University Canada and CNEURO lab in Cuba.
