Biography
Dr Qing Li received his PhD degree from the University of Sydney in 2000. He was a postdoc fellow in Cornell University, USA. He was then an Australian Research Council (ARC) APD Fellow in 2001-03 and Future fellow in 2013-2017. Qing Li joined the University of Sydney as a faculty member in 2006 and he is now a Professor in the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering.
Qing is interested in biomedical modelling, computational biomechanics and design optimization. He is currently serving in editorial panels for Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (review editor), Biofabrication, PLoS One. Qing is the Vice President of International Society of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (ISSMO) and in the member of General Council for International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM). He was a recipient of APACM Computational Mechanics Award in 2016. Qing published over 300 scientific articles with an h-Index of 64.
