Biography
Khalid completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Blue Nile specializing in power systems, Sudan, 2005 and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical, power specializing from University of Khartoum, Sudan, 2010. Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, in 2019. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Blue Nile, Sudan. His area of interest includes power electronic converters, renewable energy, and smart grid, with a strong background in designing an adaptive PI with fuzzy logic control for power electronic converters used in renewable energy systems. Khalid is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and reviewer for the Institution of Engineering and Technology journal (IET journal).
