Tansal Gucluoglu received the B.S. degree from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey in 1997, the M.S. degree from Syracuse University in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree from Arizona State University in 2006, all in electrical engineering. He worked as an R&D Engineer at Karel Electronics, Ankara (1997-2000) and at PPC, Manlius, New York (2000-2001). He was a Research Associate (2001-2004) and a Teaching Associate (2004-2006) at Arizona State University. Since 2006, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics Engineering, Kadir Has University, Istanbul. His research interests include wireless communication systems, channel coding and equalization.
