Abstract This paper introduces a development and simulation analysis of parallel coupled band pass filter uses Chebychev approach with 0.1 percent ripple. The design was working at 24 GHz with bandwidth of 0.6 GHz. The problems in design at K-band were explained with the suggestion to improve the approach. There was a need to come out with improvements in designing circuit on microstrip at the extremely high frequency. Some approaches to overcome the high insertion loss in pass band have been explained.
