Fahim Khan is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo, Japan. He obtained his PhD in Applied Computer Science from the same university in 2012. Dr. Khan's current research focus lies in the intersection of context-awareness and security in ubiquitous computing. He is also investigating various security, privacy and trust issues of e-commerce, smartcard, RFID and other emerging distributed applications. Prior to joining the University of Tokyo, he had been serving as a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh. He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE, USA), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM, USA), International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT, Singapore), and Institution of Engineers (IEB, Bangladesh).
