Biography
Yuan Zhang is currently sponsored by China Scholarship Council as a Visiting Scholar at Department of Computer Science, Georgia State University, USA. He is also an Associate Professor at University of Jinan (UJN), China. He received the M.Sc. degree in Communication Systems and Ph.D. in Control Theory & Engineering both from Shandong University, China, in 2003 and 2012 respectively. As the first author or corresponding author he has published more than 20 peer reviewed technical papers in archival journals and conference proceedings, including IEEE Commun. Lett., Elsevier Ad Hoc Netw., etc. His research interests are in wireless networks and mobile computing, currently focusing on wireless sensor networks and smartphone sensing. He is a member of IEEE.
