Biography
I have BSc. degree in Control System/Computer Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Technology. My BSc. included theory and practical Control/Computer modules, dealing with complex transfer function, Z-transform equations, S-transform equations, and electronic devices.
As well as studying a range of courses in my MSc., in Information Technology (IT)/Applied Systems at Heriot-Watt University, School of Engineering and Physical Science, project investigation into “Scalability of Wireless Mesh Network” (NS2 simulator) where it was implemented.
I was a Lecturer/Researcher at Abss Community College in Yemen (teaching Diploma 2 Years, Diploma 3 Years, and BS technical 4 Years) for three years, teaching different subjects listed in CV. These subjects were delivered (lecturing, teaching, and Exams) in English Language. Abss Community Colleges in Yemen were established based on United State (USA) standards to meet the practical market. We were trained as lecturers by American professional experts (Educational courses). I was involved in a Ministry of Technical Education and Technical committee to plan and draw up the syllabus for different departments, including the departments of electronics, information technology, computer networks and web design in community colleges in Yemen. In addition, during a PhD period I was working (C/C++, networking, graphics, and Web) lab demonstrations in school of computing at University of the West of Scotland.
During my PhD research, I have developed a tremendous interest in and passion for research in the area of the wireless communications and networking. I have learned a wide range of IT skills that help me manage my work. These include a knowledge of MIMO technology. I also have extensive experience in system software programming such as: C++, C, FPGA and Matlab. I established my testbed in a NCTUns (C/C++ based) simulator and have used NS2 and MatLab (C/C++/OOP based) simulators during my studi
