Biography
Nakhleh E. Abu-Yaghi, M.B.B.S is currently an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Jordan. His research interests span a multitude of surgical and medical retinal diseases including diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachments, ocular tumors and inflammatory eye conditions. He received his primary medical degree and his Higher Specialization degree in Ophthalmology from the University of Jordan, and completed a vitreo-retinal surgical fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota in 2010.
Dr. Abu-Yaghi serves as the coordinator of The Retina Group at the Jordanian Ophthalmological Society since 2012 and is currently the Head of the Anti-Smoking Committee at Jordan University Hospital.
