Prof. Mona Hetta
- Started her career in National Research Centre (NRC) till 2005. She got her PhD in Pharmaceutical sciences in 2001 in Pharmacognosy. She moved to Beni-Suef University in 2005 and worked as Head of Pharmacognosy Department from 2008 - 2014.
- She worked as program coordinator for Clinical Pharmacy Program from 2008 - 2015.
- She worked as Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Faculty of Graduate Studies from 2008 - 2011.
- Then she worked as Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Beni-Suef University, from 2014 - 2015.
- Then she moved to, Fayoum University, in 2015, to establish a Faculty of Pharmacy and worked as the Dean of the faculty till now.
Then she moved to Fayoum University in 2015 to establish a new Faculty of Pharmacy and currently working as Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy since 2015.
- She has contributed in 8 research projects as PI and Co-PI and as a team member.
- She supervised and still supervising 24 master and PhD thesis.
- She produced an E-learning course (Pharmacognosy 3).
- She attended around 53 international and local conferences and workshops.
- She has 62 publications and contributed in 2 books.
- She reviewed different local and international manuscripts (45).
- She was awarded from "The Arabic Company for Medicinal Plants" for the best Master Thesis in 1994.
- She was awarded from Fayoum University for Scientific publications in 2015.
Her research work focuses on the isolation, purification and identification of bioactive constituents from natural products and drug discovery interest from natural and medicinal sources.
