Biography
Dr. Ahmed El-Hakim, has more than 40 years’ experience in universities and consulting firms. While he is teaching in the universities he is actively involved in numerous type and number of projects.
His Master Degree was supported by the Academic Research Center in Egypt and intended to determine the equivalent passenger car equivalents in the Egyptian urban areas.
His Doctor Degree in Osaka University deals with the study of the characteristics of axle weights of large trucks for the design of highway and highway bridges. He can develop a new weigh in motion system for the determination of truck axle weights. The results of his research were utilized in revising the design live loads for highway bridges in Japan.
Dr. Hakim beside his professional record has more than forty recognizable scientific papers published in research magazines and international conferences and Journals.
He is familiar with using statistics, probability, simulation, database and computer in solving engineering problems.
He has a recognizable works in field of recent transport problems. He has up-to-date knowledge of the new high-tech for recent transport issues such as the adaptation of BOT Systems, PPP Programs including mainly institutional set-up and new organization requirements.
