Malek Barhoush is assistant professor in the computer science department at Yarmouk University / Jordan. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the Concordia University / Canada in 2012. He granted a scholarship for his master degree at Yarmouk University (YU), as well as, He granted a scholarship for his Ph.D. During his career at YU he served as Assistant Dean for Laboratory Affairs for information technology and computer science faculty, and he served as chairman for network and information security department. He have several journal and a conference research publications in a number of research areas. His research interest focuses on computer network security, mobile computing, web intelligence, mobile sensors, Parallel & distributed systems, and cloud computing.
