Biography
Cristian Rodriguez Rivero received the Electrical Engineering degree, and he Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina in the topic for computational intelligence for smart agriculture. He joined the Mathematics Research Laboratory applied to Control (LIMAC) at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in 2009. He is postdoctoral fellow at Center for Neuroscience, University of California at Davis. He was an assistant researcher of LIMAC Laboratory and Professor of Digital Processes Control at Aeronautic University Institute, respectively. He participates as a lecturer since 2010 in EEEU, Europe, Latin America and Argentina giving conferences on computational intelligence for time series forecasting in the area of smart agriculture called “Agromatica”. His research interest includes topics of automatic control, stochastic and optimal control, nonparametric time series modeling and parametric modeling for slow dynamic processes control systems. Time Series Forecasting for non-linear Processes with constraints applied to Agriculture Activities for crop growing guidance. Machine Learning: Neural Networks, Support Vector Regression and genetic algorithms. Member and co-founder of the LA-CCI Steering Committee, IEEE CIS Argentina Chapter chair since 2013, member of INNS (International Neural Network Society), SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) Control and Optimization and AADECA (Argentine Association of Automation and Control).
