Biography
Dr. Khaled Alawasa received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Mutah University, AlāKarak, Jordan, in 2000, the M.Sc. degree in power engineering with business from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, U.K., in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada, in 2014. He was an Engineer with the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), Amman, Jordan, from 2001 to 2007 and a Power System Specialist with Magna IV, Edmonton, from 2012 to 2013. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mutah University. His main research interests are renewable energy integration, power system quality, stability, control, protection and dynamics, power converters.
