Biography
Issam W. Damaj is A Visiting Professor at Rafik Hariri University, Lebanon. Between 2009 and 2019, he was an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at American University of Kuwait (AUK). He was the Founding Chairperson of the ECE Department and Program Lead between 2009 and 2016. His research interests include hardware design, embedded system design, reconfigurable computing, Internet of things, formal methods, and engineering education. He is a Program Evaluator (PEV) with ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC), a Professional Member of the ASEE, and a member of the Order of Engineers in Beirut.
