Biography
I am Dr. Sajida Kousar graduated from The University of York, UK in 2013. I am working as an assistant professor at the International Islamic University, Islamabad Pakistan since March 2006. I have supervised 13 MS students. Recently five PhD students are working under my supervision. My key research area is geometric group theory. I mainly use combinatroial techniques to study group actions. In my doctoral research I worked on the quotients of Non-Euclidean Crystallographic Groups(NEC) and by using coset diagrams proved that NEC groups surjects all but finitely many alternating groups. The second area of interest is Fuzzy logic. Recently I along with my two students working on fuzzy optimization. We are applying fuzzy logic on environmental impact assessment. Our major project is to analyse the climatic changes in Northern areas of Pakistan due to the recently construction under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
