Biography I am an assistant professor in Department of statistics at Yarmouk University, I have been a faculty member since 2014. I Received my PhD in Mathematics and Statistics from Southern Illinois University. I completed my masters degree in Statistics from YU in 2008, and my bachelor degree in Mathematics in 2005. I have taught many undergraduate and graduate courses, and I supervise 3 master degree students. My research interests are mainly in information theory, with a special interest in entropies and their applications. Also, I have interest in fuzzy set theory and distribution theory.
