Biography
Lisimachos P. Kondi received the PhD degree in electrical and com-puter engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, USA, in 1999. He is currently Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, Greece. His research interests are in the general areas of signal and image processing and communications, including image and video compression and transmission over wireless channels and the Internet, sparse representations and compressive sensing, and super-resolution of video sequences.
