Dr. Nasser Sepehri Javan was born in 1974 in Ardebil, Iran. He got his BS in 1997 in physics from Tabriz University, Iran. He entered into Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran where he received his MS in physics in the winter of 1999. His MS thesis was a theoretical study about the free electron laser with electrostatic wiggler. He could get scholarship from the Ministry of Science Research and Technology of Iran through a national examination. In the winter of 2002, he went to Russia to start his PhD, where he spent his first year learning Russian language. After a year, he entered to the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University and started working on his PhD dissertation under supervising of Prof. Mikhail Victorovich Kuzelev in Plasma Physics field. Dissertation was about theoretical study of Cherenkov instability in the interaction of electron beam with plasma whose results were published in three articles.
After defending his dissertation on 17/11/2005 and getting PhD in Plasma Physics, he returned to Iran and started working at Zanjan University on 04/04/2006. After two years, he returned to his birthplace, Ardebil, and started working at University of Mohaghegh Ardabili where he has been working since then.
