Biography
Dr. Yasmein Okour is an assistant professor at the Department of City Planning and Design, Jordan University of Science and Technology. Dr. Okour received her doctoral degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Buffalo in 2019. She also holds a bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and a master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona. Dr. Okour does research on the transportation experiences of refugees and social justice in urban planning and the built environment.
