Biography
Bachelor of Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1988), Master's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1992) and PhD in Electrical Engineering (Concentration Area: Information Systems) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2001). Professor at the Department of Informatics and Statistics (INE) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). Research areas: quality of service (QoS) for distributed multimedia applications, flow control based on fuzzy logic and application of ontologies.
