Mahmood A. Al-khassaweneh was
born in Irbid, Jordan, on June 11, 1977. He received
the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the
Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid,
Jordan, in 2000, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees
in electrical engineering from Michigan State University,
East Lansing, MI, USA, in 2003 and 2007,
respectively. Since Fall 2007, he has been with theDepartment
of Computer Engineering, Hijjawi Faculty
for Engineering Technology, Yarmouk University, Irbid,
Jordan. From 2014 to 2018, he was a Visiting
Associate Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department,
Michigan State University.He is currently with theDepartment of Computer and
Mathematical Sciences, Lewis University, Romeoville, IL, USA. His research
interests include image processing, computer vision, medical imaging, data
security, and applying signal processing methods to the brain signals.
