Biography Cheng-Yuan Chang (S’04–M’07) received the B.S. degree from the National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 1997, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, in 2002 and 2007, respectively, all in electrical engineering. In 2007, he joined the faculty of National United University, Miaoli, Taiwan, where he is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include optical and wireless communications, spreading code designs, modulation, and coding techniques.
