Markos G. Tsipouras was born in Athens, Greece, in 1977. He received the diploma degree, the M.Sc. and Ph.D degree in computer science from the University of Ioannina, Greece, in 1999, 2002 and 2009 respectively. He is currently working as Post doctoral researcher in the in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Ioannina. He is a member of IEEE, he has published more than 14 papers in scientific journals, 26 papers in peer-reviewed conference proceedings, and 6 chapters in books. His research interests include biomedical engineering, decision support and medical expert systems and biomedical applications.
