Kostas Ramantas has received the Diploma of Computer Engineering, the M.Sc degree in Computer Science and Engineering and the Ph.D degree from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2006, 2008 and 2012 respectively. Up to now, he has been the recipient of two national scholarships and has participated at the EC funded ICT-BONE and ePhoton/One+ Networks of Excellence, conducting joint research with many European research groups. His research interests are in Modeling and Simulation of Network Protocols, Scheduling Algorithms for QoS provisioning, and Optical Switch Architectures. Dr. Ramantas is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. In June 2013, he joined Iquadrat as a senior researcher.
