Loay Khalaf is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Jordan, teaching and
conducting research in the area of communications circuits and systems and algorithm development.
Previously, Dr. Khalaf cofounded Telematix Corp. and developed 802.11G baseband modems, he also
worked at NEC Wireless on CDMA cellular phones, and Scientific Atlanta on RF modems, and Nortel
on Fiber Loop Carriers. Dr. Khalaf holds a Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology.
