Mario R. Arrieta Paternina (M\' 11) holds a B.Eng. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from National University of Colombia, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. In 2017, he obtained his D.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from CINVESTAV, and he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at UNAM. He was a visiting scholar at RPI in 2016. His areas of interest include model reduction, power system dynamics, WAMPACS‐PMUs, and modeling, control and simulation of power systems.
