Sujan Rajbhandari obtained his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus (Tribhuvan University), Nepal in 2004. He obtained the MSc and PhD in electrical/electronic engineering from at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K. in 2006 and 2009, respectively. His PhD was on using wavelet transform and artificial neural network to improve the performance of indoor optical wireless communications system. Currently he is working as a post-doctorate researcher in free-space optical communication at Northumbria University. His research interests lie in the area of free space optical communications, channel modeling and equalization. He served as a reviewer for sseveral internal journals and conferences including the IEEE/OSA Journal of Lightwave Technology, IEEE-Selected Area on Communications, Springer-Journal of Wireless Personal Communications.
