He has received B.S. in control and instrumentation engineering from Seoul National University, M.S. in electrical engineering from Korea Advanced Science and Technology, and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Iowa, in 1985, 1988, and 1995 respectively. He was with Korea Telecom
during 1988 ~ 1999, where he researched in the field of electronic switching systems and performance
evaluation of ATM and during 1999-2002, and with Lucent Technologies, where he worked in the network
design field. Since March 2002, he has been with the school of electronics engineering, Ajou University. His
research interests include adhoc and sensor networks, RFID, and traffic engineering.
