Biography
Biography IMO. Mohammed got her PhD in the department of electrical, electronic and computer engineering, university of Pretoria, Pretoria-South Africa Feb. 2021, in the field of Power Electronics and Renewable Energy. She has authored many journal articles. On April 2013, she received her second degree (MSc.) in electrical power engineering from university of Khartoum, Khartoum-Sudan. She received the (BSc. Hons) degree in electrical power engineering from university of Red Sea, Port Sudan-Sudan, 2005. She worked as part-time assistant lecturer and lecturer for 4 years in the Red Sea University from Feb. 2008 up to Jan. 2012. From Jun. 2005 to date she has been working as an electrical engineer for ministry of physical plan and public utilities, Port-Sudan-Sudan, in the position of supervisor of electrical department. From Feb. 2007 to Mar. 2013 she worked as a contractor-Engineer for sea port corporation, Port Sudan-Sudan. Her research areas of interest are in renewable and sustainable energy, Power electronics, Control of electrical machines or electric drives, Power system stability and control.
