Biography
Yousef El Mourabit is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Morocco, and a researcher at the TIAD Laboratory. His research interests focus on artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision, and medical image analysis, with particular emphasis on biomedical imaging, image segmentation, trustworthy AI, self-supervised learning, and optimal transport-based learning. He has been involved in several national and international research collaborations with academic and clinical institutions in Morocco, France, Canada, and Italy. His work addresses the development of robust and reliable AI methods for healthcare and scientific applications. He has contributed to research projects and publications in areas including medical image analysis, microscopy image processing, retinal disease detection, and machine learning. He also supervises graduate and doctoral students and is actively involved in teaching, research project development, and academic program coordination.
