Professor Fadi R. Shahroury is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) in Amman, Jordan. He earned his B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from PSUT in 2000, graduating with the highest honors. He subsequently received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2003 and 2008, respectively. Throughout his academic career, Professor Shahroury has gained extensive international research and teaching experience. He conducted research at Carleton University in Canada in 2005, focusing on radio-frequency CMOS integrated circuits. In 2011, he joined the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden as a postdoctoral researcher. He was also a visiting fellow at Queen’s University Belfast in the United Kingdom from 2018 to 2019 and participated in the Phoenix Staff Exchange Programme at the University of L’Aquila in Italy in 2017. His research interests include artificial intelligence, data science, communication electronics, RF and microwave circuits, analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design, Internet of Things applications, wireless sensor networks, embedded systems, smart agriculture, renewable energy systems, and semiconductor technologies. His work combines academic research with practical engineering applications, particularly in healthcare, agriculture, energy, and intelligent electronic systems.
