Biography
Dr. Sumita Mishra is a faculty member in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, with 21+ years of academic and research experience.
Her areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Wireless Communication, Smart Healthcare, Smart Agriculture, and Intelligent Systems.
Dr. Mishra is actively engaged in Ph.D. supervision, research, academic leadership, capacity building, and technology training. She has served as a resource person for AI/IoT workshops, ATAL FDPs, and international training programmes, and has contributed to several international academic collaborations.
Her innovation portfolio includes three granted patents, five filed patents, and several registered/granted copyrights, reflecting her focus on translating research into practical technological solutions.
She has also co-edited academic books published by leading international publishers, Springer Nature and Wiley-IEEE Press, including Internet of Everything for Smart City and Smart Healthcare Applications and AI and ML Techniques in IoT-based Communication: A Path to Sustainable Development Goals. She has further served as a Volume Editor for Springer’s LNICST series.
Dr. Mishra is a Fellow of IETE and her academic and research contributions span emerging technologies, interdisciplinary research, innovation, and sustainable intelligent systems.
