Biography
Thabet Mismar is an Assistant Professor at Al Ain University in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he has been a faculty member since 2016. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo, USA, in 2015, his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport, USA, and his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan. His research interests include signal processing, localization systems, and the Internet of Things. His work includes eigen-based methods for joint direction-of-arrival and frequency estimation, selective notch filter design, and anti-spoofing cooperative localization in cellular networks.
