Welcome to MIC-Optical 2019
Welcome to the 1st International Conference on Optical Communications, Optics and Optoelectronics (MIC-Optical 2019). This event is intended to represent a major forum for researchers, academicians, professionals, and students from all over the world to meet in the beautiful and culturally rich city of Athens in Greece to present their latest research results and to exchange new ideas and practical experiences.

MIC-Optical 2019 welcomes paper submissions in the following conference tracks:


MIC-Optical 2019 is planned to feature workshops and special sessions, keynote talks and tutorial sessions by leading experts, paper presentations, poster shows, demo shows, discussion panels, as well as other interesting technical activities.

Athens is the capital of Greece. It is also the largest and most developed city in the country. Athens is one of the oldest cities in the world. Athens hosts great many ancient monuments and works of art, including the Parthenon. The city also hosts Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman monuments.

* Only full paper submissions are allowed at all our conferences. No summary or abstract submissions are allowed. Conference topic coverage includes the most current and exciting fields of knowledge and research.
* Papers can be accepted to our conferences only after rigorous peer reviewing.
* Our outstanding reviewing process is facilitated by careful selection of technical program committee members from among the best international experts. Each submitted paper is subject to no less than two peer reviews before it can be considered for acceptance.
* Published papers of MIC-Optical 2019 are indexed by Google Scholar. More indexing is on the way.
* At each conference, and based on paper review scores, the paper with the highest scores receives the Best Paper Award. This is an award to which only presented papers are eligible. The best paper award is usually delivered to the presenter of the winning paper at the main conference dinner.

Types of submittable papers include full research papers and poster papers. Abstract, extended abstract and summary papers are not allowed.

Types of submittable events include keynote talks, tutorial sessions, workshops, discussion panels, demos, etc.
Track Submissions MIC-Optical 2019 Track submissions have closed on Monday, 30 July 2018
Submitted track should not repeat the current MIC-Optical 2019 Tracks, not in title nor in topics. Submitted track should have a consistent title and set of topics that allow it to fit into the general scope of MIC-Optical 2019.

Welcome to the 1st International Conference on Optical Communications, Optics and Optoelectronics (MIC-Optical 2019). This event is intended to represent a major forum for researchers, engineers and students from all over the world to meet in the beautiful and culturally rich city of Athens to present their latest research results, and to exchange new ideas and practical experiences in the most up-to-date areas of this exciting field.

As part of the Global 2019 Congress on Networking and Communications (GC-NetCom 2019 - http://mosharaka.net/?Area=Conferences&Page=CongSite&Cong=41), MIC-Optical 2019 will be held in Athens, Greece in the period 8-10 March 2019. You may view more details at the conference website here:

The type of articles that will be considered for publication include case studies, reviews, as well as theoretical and empirical research. Only papers with top technical quality will be accepted; a fact that is assured by a world-class technical program committee (TPC) and a thorough and rigorous peer review process. All submitted manuscripts are peer reviewed, and acceptance/rejection decisions about a manuscript are based mainly on the importance, originality, clarity, and contribution of the submission to knowledge in the scope of MIC-Optical 2019.

Papers to be published at MIC-Optical 2019 will be indexed by Google Scholar. Authors of best-reviewed papers will be given the opportunity to publish extended versions of their papers in special issues of top-ranked journals.
