Abstract
FPGAs are widely used in implementation of circuits/systems/functions/algorithms. One of the most attractive features of FPGAs is that their design and implementation is „fabless‟. Thus any design can be implemented without going to the complex processing at a silicon foundry. In the present work, some useful circuits and functions have been designed and implemented on FPGAs. The present work describes an attempt at the design and implementation of some useful circuits and functions. Designs of two multipliers viz Braun for un-signed numbers and Baugh Wooley multipliers for signed numbers are presented. Two Orthogonal functions vizRademacher and Walsh are also designed. Using the function, hardware realization of sine wave is also demonstrated.
