Biography Dr. Irene Karanasiou obtained the Diploma of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the PhD degree from the same school in 1999 and 2003 respectively. She is currently senior researcher in the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems of the NTUA. She has more than 110 publications in international journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests include application of microwaves in biomedicine, biomedical imaging and informatics, EEG/ERPs and signal processing.
