Biography
I have 38 years top-level experience including as Vice President TCS/Adani; Pro Vice Chancellor/Provost of noted Universities; Visiting/Adjunct Professor UK/Malaysian Universities; Commander Electronics branch Indian Navy; 1971 Indo-Pak war veteran; overseas assignments to UK, Indonesia, China, New Zealand; Jury Member of National Awards; New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation Consultant.
Alumnus of IIT Delhi, JBIMS & NDA; winner of “Most Admired Edupreneur”, “MTC-Global Top-10 Thinker” awards; Senior Member IEEE[USA]; author of Technology & Management books; Speaker; Advisor/Board member; Fellow-IE; active Fellow IETE.
My area of practice for 25 years has been in area of Quality Improvement of products, processes & systems, first in Defence Electronics, Weapons, Communication, Control Systems & Sensors, in Naval Dockyards, Warships, and DRDO projects; and later during the corporate career in TCS, Adani & as Senior Assessor of CII of various Indian & foreign organizations, using frameworks like Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence, and EFQM: European Foundation for Quality Management, since Indian Navy days.
