Prof. Dr. Ahmad Malawi specializes in Economics. He has published more than 40 papers in more than 10 different journals. Ahmad Malawi received his PhD and Master's degrees in Economics from University of Missouri-Columbia in USA, and Master and Bachelor degrees in Economics from Yarmouk University in Jordan. Also he got a Diploma in Mathematics. Prof. Malawi currently is a Professor of Economics at Yarmouk University/ Jordan, also he served as a Professor of Economics at Mu'tah University/ Jordan. He taught as a part time lecturer at University of Missouri-Columbia/ USA, Central Methodist University/ USA, The Hashemite University/ Jordan, Al-Zaytoonah University/ Jordan, Al-Cadi Ayyad University/ Marrakech/ Morocco (TEMPUS PROGRAM), University of Banking and Financial Sciences/ Jordan, and a lecturer at two Community Colleges in Libya. He worked in the Central Bank of Jordan and a teacher of Mathematics at different high (secondary) schools in Jordan. He received the Donald K. Anderson Teaching Award (1998-1999) for Excellence in Teaching in the Department of Economics/ University of Missouri-Columbia/ USA. Also he received a Watch from the Former King of Jordan "Al-Hussein Bin Talal" and an Award for Super Academic Achievement from the President of Yarmouk University because his rank (standing) was the first among the students who graduated in the same year from the Department of Economics/ Yarmouk University/ Jordan/ during the year 1986 in the Bachelor's Degree Program. He has directed over 25 Mater and doctoral dissertations for students in different universities.
