Biography Latifa Abdou was born in Batna Algeria, in 1972. In 1994 she received the Engineering degree from the institute of electronic in the University of Batna, Algeria, and the magister degree at the same institute in 1999. She received her Ph.D. degree in 2009; her thesis title was “Application des Algorithmes Evolutionnaires à l’Optimisation du seuil de détection dans les systèmes distribués CFAR”. Since 2002 she is working as an Assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Biskra, Algeria. Her scientific research is focusing on distributed detection in CFAR systems and the application of Heuristic methods in optimisation problems. In addition, he also investigates questions related with automatic systems.
